The Miles Avenue Streetscape Plan is focused on improving the Miles Avenue corridor between East 113th Street and East 135th Street and two blocks north and south of Miles Avenue. The project’s goals include:

Enhance the economic viability of the existing community
Foster compact land use development and redevelopment
Facilitate accessibility by adding bicycle facilities and improving pedestrian and transit facilities/access
Reduce air and water pollution through best management practices
Promote a healthier community through planning and environmental linkages from an integrated transportation perspective
Assist the redevelopment of urban core communities
Improve the safety and efficiency of the existing transportation system and waiting environments

The project is funded by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) through a Transportation for Liveable Communities Initiative (TLCI) Grant in conjunction with the City of Cleveland. The project is organized by the Union Miles Development Corporation.
